Update – Boulder League starts Wednesday March 20th at 7:30p!

Due to the bombogenesis (aka bomb cyclone, aka snowpocalypse 2019) Boulder Pinball League has been delayed one week: now starting Wednesday March 20th at 7:30pm!

Boulder Pinball League kicks off tonight next week, Wednesday March 20th at 7:30p at Press Play and will meet every Wednesday, excluding the 1st Wednesday of each month which is when their monthly tournament is held. It costs $25 to join for the 8 week regular season with finals being held on May 29th.

Blizzard is hosting a full weekend of pinball to welcome their newest edition – Jersey Jack’s Pirates of the Caribbean! The format is an unlimited card-based qualifying tournament with those in ranked in the top half of qualifying standings playing in A Division Finals and the bottom half playing in B Division Finals.

Qualifying will take place on a bank of 7 games with 3 unique games per card (aka ticket). For full details – go here.

Casual League resumes at Arapahoe Bowling Center

Tonight at 7pm, after taking a week off for Valentines day, week 3 of the casual league resumes at the expanded space inside Arapahoe Bowling Center tonight. 28 games, including the new Jersey Jack Pinball Pirates of the Caribbean. This is super casual, so no WPPR points earned. Just getting together for some fun challenges that change on a weekly basis. If you miss a week, games are easily made up. Dues are $4 a week, with all dues paid out in prizes at the end of the 8-week run.

League runs Thursdays at 7pm, until March 28.

Endangered Event: Fridays at Gunbarrel

For those of you who have enjoyed the 1st and 3rd Friday night tournaments at Gunbarrel Brewing or have liked the idea of such events – ACT NOW! This Friday, February 15th at 7pm will be the final installment if participation doesn’t improve.

To maximize gameplay they’ll be running a Flipper Frenzy format which will garuantee to keep you busy playing and not waiting for the next round to begin. It’s fun, it’s frantic, it’s a frenzy!

Munsters Pinball Launch Parties!

Stern’s released another pinball and with that come the launch parties! At the time of this post, there are two scheduled however word is an LE will be on location at 1up Greenwood, a Premium at 1up Colfax and I believe a Premium (possibly LE – definitely not a Pro, honestly forgot what Kevin told me, oops) will be at Lyons Classic Pinball.

1up LoDo - Sunday, February 10th

The doors open at 11am and the tournament starts at 12pm sharp. It’s a $5 entry plus the cost of games for a 9 strike group knockout. WPPRs will be awarded, the top 4 players win cash and there will be random drawings for 1up gift cards as well as Stern swag. More details here.

Wonderland - Saturday, February 23rd

Wonderland is combining their monthly double elimination tournament with The Munsters Launch Party at 1pm on February 23rd. It’s a $5 buy-in, the winner’s name gets added to the coveted Wonderland trophy and yes there will be Stern swag give-aways! More details here.

J Bo’s will be hosting a launch party on April 20th at 6pm with a $5 buy-in and payout to the top 3 players in their 3 strike group knockout. More details here.
